Lucknow: Mango season in Uttar Pradesh is about to reach its most festive peak as Kothi Mall invites guests to a unique and immersive celebration of the king of fruits. Titled “AAMANTIRIT – Dawat-e-Aam,” this specially curated mango festival will be held on June 22, 2025, from 3 PM to 9 PM at the scenic Mahadevan Farm, nestled in Malihabad, India’s legendary mango belt.
Set against the rustic backdrop of lush orchards in Janakapur, Sukhakhera, near the Chiranjivi Nath Mandir, the event promises a vibrant mix of culinary indulgence, cultural exchange, and family-friendly fun. From a guided farm tour and mango tasting of over 10 rare and traditional mango varieties, to a Mango Connoisseur Contest with grand prizes, every activity has been designed to honour the region’s deep-rooted mango heritage.
Adding intellectual flavour to the afternoon, the event will feature an engaging baat-chit session with noted oral historian and filmmaker Sohail Hashmi, alongside acclaimed journalist and author Sopan Joshi, who will delve into the socio-cultural journey of mangoes in India.
Visitors can also enjoy live music performances, a craft bazaar and mango haat, fun games for all ages, farm hammocks, and special zones for children. The culinary experience includes mango-themed snacks, kulfi, aam ras, chaat, raw mango pickle, and a wholesome mango-inspired dinner. Welcome drinks will be served on arrival, and all guests are encouraged to wear light, festive attire in white, yellow, or green, in keeping with the tropical theme.
